SEDENA, state and municipal Civil Protection authorities, and La Paz Firefighters held a meeting at the 3/a. Military Zone to coordinate the "December Operation." It was reiterated that SEDENA is the only entity authorized to issue pyrotechnics sales permits; Civil Protection will only verify the safety of authorized locations.

The traditional "Maja El Grande" shore fishing tournament returns to the municipality of La Paz, hosted in Todos Santos on November 16th and 17th. The event, organized by "Pesca de Orilla BCS" and supported by Municipal Tourism, promotes the sport and economic benefits in the "Pueblo Mágico," attracting local and foreign competitors.

La Paz Mayor Milena Quiroga inaugurated the 1st UNESCO Learning Cities Forum in BCS. The event brings together 57 representatives from 16 countries and experts from 20 Mexican cities to exchange strategies on education, culture, and sustainable development, solidifying La Paz as an international benchmark in the field.

Following the alleged abandonment of 28 youths on Isla Espíritu Santo, the BCS government will seek greater regulation for the maritime transport of minors. The governor has ordered working groups with SEMAR and the Port Captaincy to create new guidelines forcing nautical service providers (a key state business) to register all passengers.

The BCS government, via SEDATUM and INVI, will meet next week to define new priority development polygons. The goal is to create territorial reserves to build social housing, addressing the shortage in high-demand areas like Los Cabos and La Paz. This plan, coordinated with the federal government, aims to plan orderly growth with full services.
