Amor Fenech Montaño, the current mayor of La Paz, has achieved a notable milestone by securing the seventh position in the national evaluation of municipal leaders conducted by Consulta Mitofsky for August 2026. The top positions in the list are occupied by Landy Canché from Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, who leads with 64.6 points, followed by Carmen Lilia Canturosas from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, with 63.8 points, and Estefanía Mercado from Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, with 62.1 points.
Fenech Montaño's score of 56.9 points places her in a competitive position, especially when compared to other notable mayors such as Héctor Ortiz Orpinel from Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, who scored 61.0 points. The evaluation also includes mayors like Isaac Montoya from Naucalpan, José Chedraui from Puebla, and Berenice Hernández from Tláhuac, among others, showcasing a diverse range of leadership across the country.
