Education Meeting

Conclusion of Technical Council Sessions

The Secretary of Public Education in Baja California Sur has successfully concluded eight regular sessions of the Technical School Council for the 2025-2026 school year. This initiative involved 167 participants from the Child Care Centers (CAI), as reported by Rosario del Carmen Salazar Estrada, head of the Early Childhood Education Department. These meetings were instrumental in consolidating collaborative efforts to enhance the quality of services directed at early childhood education.

"These sessions allowed us to strengthen our collective work and improve the quality of care and learning processes for our youngest children,"

said Salazar Estrada.

During these gatherings, participants analyzed pedagogical practices, exchanged experiences, and established agreements aimed at improving care, attention, and learning processes. This aligns with the principles of the New Mexican School and emphasizes a rights-based approach to childhood education.

Focus on Professional Development

Among the 167 participants, 137 are directly involved in classroom activities, supporting the holistic development of children on a daily basis. The remaining 30 members are part of the technical team, responsible for providing specialized advice, follow-up, and support in pedagogical, organizational, and management areas.

"The collaboration among our educators is vital for creating a nurturing environment for our children,"

Salazar Estrada emphasized.

Throughout the school year, communities of learning were also established, serving as professional dialogue spaces that fostered collective reflection, experience sharing, and the development of innovative proposals. This collaborative effort enriched educational environments and effectively addressed the needs of early childhood education.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement

Salazar Estrada highlighted that the topics discussed included analyzing progress and designing measures aimed at promoting child well-being, improving services, and fostering a culture of collaboration within the centers. The commitment to continuous improvement in early childhood education is evident in the proactive approach taken by the Secretary of Education.

"Our goal is to ensure that every child receives the best possible start in their educational journey,"

she stated.

As these initiatives unfold, the focus remains on creating a supportive and enriching environment for children, which is crucial for their development. The dedication of the educators and the structured approach to professional development are key components in achieving these objectives. The Secretary of Education’s efforts reflect a broader commitment to enhancing educational standards and ensuring that the needs of the youngest learners are met effectively.
