Expanding Opportunities for Growth

In an effort to empower the citizens of Baja California Sur (BCS), the Institute of Training for State Workers (ICATEBCS) has announced a comprehensive lineup of courses and workshops for the month of August. These programs are designed to help individuals develop new skills and enhance their employment prospects. Cinthya Fátima Montufas Chávez, the general director of ICATEBCS, emphasized the importance of these offerings in fostering entrepreneurship and personal development.

"We invite the community to take advantage of the available courses and workshops that can contribute significantly to their professional growth,"

she stated.

The courses cover a wide range of subjects, including computer skills, administration, beauty, drywall installation, gastronomy, textile pattern making, and basic English. Each course is structured to provide practical knowledge that can be directly applied in the workforce or in starting a personal business.

Short-Term Courses with Long-Term Benefits

One of the key features of the ICATEBCS programs is their short duration, allowing participants to quickly acquire technical knowledge and specific skills. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for those who may be balancing other commitments, such as work or family.

"Our goal is to equip individuals with the tools they need to succeed in their careers or to launch their own projects,"

Montufas Chávez added.

Upon completion of the courses, participants will receive a certificate with curricular value, recognized by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) and the General Directorate of Training Centers for Work (DGCFT). This certification can enhance a participant's resume and increase their employability.
