Free Self-Makeup Course for Youth in Santiago

Empowering Youth Through Art

The Youth Institute of the Municipality of Los Cabos, known as INJUVE, is taking a significant step to empower young individuals by offering a free self-makeup course. This initiative, in collaboration with Misión Cultural No. 57, is designed for youth aged between 15 and 29 years. The course will take place from October 5 to October 15 at the Casa de Cultura in the Delegation of Santiago.

The primary goal of this course is to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in social makeup. It aims to help them identify their facial features and skin types while enhancing their personal security and self-esteem through artistic expression.

"We believe that makeup is not just about aesthetics; it’s a form of self-expression that can boost confidence and self-worth,"

said a representative from INJUVE.

Course Details and Requirements

The makeup sessions will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Participants are required to bring their own materials for the activities, ensuring a hands-on experience that promotes creativity and personal style.

To enroll in the course, interested individuals must meet specific requirements. They need to reside in the municipality of Los Cabos, present proof of residence and an official identification. For those under 18, parental or guardian consent is necessary, along with a completed application form provided by the institute.

"This course is an excellent opportunity for young people to learn new skills and express themselves creatively,"

the INJUVE representative added.

The reception of documents will take place at the INJUVE office in the Delegation of Santiago starting from the announcement of this invitation until Monday, October 5. This timeline allows ample opportunity for interested youth to gather the necessary documentation and secure their spot in the course.
