Young talent from Baja California Sur is crossing borders this May 2026 to prove that innovation in our state has no limits. Students from the **State College of Scientific and Technological Studies (CECyTE BCS)** have set off for Querétaro to represent our state at the **National Creativity and Technological Innovation Event**. After sweeping the state stages, these young people are carrying projects that seek real-world solutions through science, sustainability, and digital ingenuity.
The Sudcaliforniano delegation will compete in key categories such as Hackathon, Computing Prototype, Research, and Ecological Culture. Among the innovations set to raise the name of BCS high are:
* **AlgaNova:** Bioplastic development from algae (EMSaD 06 La Bocana).
* **NEUROBITE:** A disruptive proposal from EMSaD Márquez de León.
* **Water Monitoring & Control:** An intelligent system from CECyT 03 Santiago.
* **Bio-Ponteduro & Rice Algae:** Sustainable food innovation from CECyT 04 San José del Cabo.
* **IntegraTEC:** A technological project from CECyT 02 Todos Santos.
We celebrate the support that the general director of CECyTE, has provided to these young researchers. In 2026, seeing students from communities like La Bocana or Santiago competing at a national level reminds us that talent exists in every corner of our geography; it only takes the right support to flourish. We will be closely following the results, convinced that these brilliant minds are already winners by transforming their ideas into tools for a better future.
