Baja California Sur's leading university achieves a historic admissions record for the upcoming 2026-II term.

From August 3 to 7, the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur (UABCS) is conducting the official registration process for newly admitted students for the 2026-II academic semester.

Document submission and registration procedures are taking place simultaneously at the La Paz Campus, academic branches across all four municipalities, and online for distance learning programs.

According to David Flores, Director of Student Services, more than 3,500 applicants were accepted across various degree programs this term—marking a historic record for the institution.

In parallel, the university launched its University Services Fair at the Poliforo Cultural Universitario in La Paz (open 9:00 AM–1:00 PM and 5:00 PM–7:00 PM) to guide new students on campus resources, scholarships, and academic support.

Formal classes for the 2026-II term will begin on Monday, August 10, alongside the re-enrollment period for returning upperclassmen.
