In a decisive step to address the housing deficit in the municipality of La Paz, state and municipal authorities announced this March 2026 the use of land in the community of Conquista Agraria for social housing development. This project aims to benefit vulnerable families who currently lack their own property, integrating them into an orderly urban development scheme. The initiative not only includes the delivery of lots but is also projected under a social urbanism model, where connectivity and access to basic services are the priority to avoid the creation of isolated settlements.
From an urban planning and land management perspective, the viability of a human settlement depends on the analysis of the territory's carrying capacity and the provision of network services. Urban layout design uses space optimization models where the Usable Area is calculated.

In 2026, the Conquista Agraria project becomes a model for decentralization. By offering housing options outside the saturated core of La Paz, pressure on central urban services is relieved. Authorities have emphasized that the allocation process will be transparent, using rigorous socioeconomic censuses to ensure the benefit reaches those who need it most.
In conclusion, interested families are recommended to visit the Housing Institute (INVI) offices to learn about the requirements and register on the official applicant list. For the remainder of 2026, ground leveling works and the installation of the primary hydraulic network are expected to begin.
