Ongoing Waste Management Initiatives

The municipality of La Paz, through the General Directorate of Sustainability and Waste Management, is actively engaged in enhancing its waste collection services. This Thursday, the city successfully attended to 151 neighborhoods, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining service coverage and addressing areas that may have been overlooked in previous rounds of collection.

As part of these ongoing efforts, the city has outlined a plan to ensure that all neighborhoods receive timely waste collection. However, despite the progress made, some streets in 12 zones were left unattended, prompting the municipality to pledge continued efforts in the coming days.

"We are dedicated to ensuring that all areas of La Paz receive the waste management services they need. Our team is working diligently to cover all neighborhoods effectively,"

said a spokesperson from the General Directorate.

Upcoming Collection Routes

For Friday, August 28, the waste collection routes will include a variety of neighborhoods across La Paz. Among the areas scheduled for service are Loma Obrera, Centro, Francisco Villa, and Lázaro Cárdenas, among others. This comprehensive approach aims to cover as many neighborhoods as possible, ensuring that residents have access to essential waste management services.

The list of neighborhoods reflects a strategic effort to prioritize areas that have historically faced challenges in waste collection. By focusing on these neighborhoods, the municipality hopes to improve overall cleanliness and public health in La Paz.

"We encourage residents to stay informed about the collection days in their zones. If the truck does not arrive as scheduled, please report it through the La Paz App under the 'The garbage did not pass' section,"

the spokesperson added.
