New Venues Announced for the 2027 National Olympics CONADE

Overview of the Meeting
The General Director of the Sudcalifornian Institute of Sports (INSUDE), Noé Fiol Verduzco, recently participated in a significant session of the Board of Directors and Plenary of the National System of Physical Culture and Sports (SINADE). This meeting was presided over by Rommel Pacheco, the General Director of the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE). The primary focus was on enhancing sports initiatives across Mexico, including discussions about the Fiscal Stimulus for High-Performance Sports (EFIDEPORTE).
During this crucial gathering, the venues for the final phase of the 2027 National Olympics CONADE were announced. This event is pivotal as it represents the main youth sporting event in the country, bringing together young athletes from various states to compete at a high level.
Selected Venues for the Final Phase
Fiol Verduzco revealed that the states of Coahuila, Hidalgo, Tamaulipas, Oaxaca, and Veracruz will host the athletes during this final stage. Additionally, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City will also serve as a venue. This selection of locations aims to provide a diverse and inclusive environment for the athletes, ensuring that they have access to top-notch facilities and support.
"The presence of Baja California Sur in this national space will allow INSUDE to follow up on agreements and guidelines related to sports activities,"
said Fiol Verduzco.
This initiative not only highlights the importance of sports in the region but also strengthens the connection between Baja California Sur and national sports authorities. The collaboration aims to foster better communication with CONADE and other institutions responsible for physical culture in the participating states.
New Institutional Image
As part of the agreements reached during the meeting, CONADE unveiled a new institutional image for the National Olympics. The event will now carry the slogan “National Pride (ON),” which will identify the 2027 edition. This rebranding is expected to resonate with athletes and spectators alike, instilling a sense of pride and unity among participants.
"We are excited to present this new identity that reflects the spirit of our athletes and the commitment to excellence in sports,"
stated Pacheco during the meeting.
The changes aim to enhance the visibility of the National Olympics and encourage greater participation from young athletes across the country. By adopting a modern and appealing image, CONADE hopes to attract more attention and support for the event.
In conclusion, the preparations for the 2027 National Olympics CONADE are well underway, with new venues and a fresh identity set to elevate the event's profile. The collaboration between Baja California Sur and national sports authorities signifies a promising future for youth sports in the region, paving the way for the next generation of athletes to shine on a national stage.
