A Step Forward in Education

The Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos del Estado de Baja California Sur (CECyTE BCS) has taken a significant step towards enhancing the professional training of its students by signing a collaboration agreement with Expo Agrovizcaíno, A.C. This partnership aims to provide students from the CECyT 06 Vizcaíno campus with practical experience in various industries, allowing them to apply the knowledge they have acquired during their technological education.

The agreement was signed by Vladimir Torres Navarro, the general director of CECyTE, and Alonso Favela Dávalos, the legal representative of Expo Agrovizcaíno. This collaboration is particularly focused on students specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Food Industrial Production, and Computer Equipment Support and Maintenance. By engaging with real-world companies, students will gain invaluable insights and skills that are essential for their future careers.

Practical Experience is Key

As part of the agreement, students will be required to complete 240 hours of professional practices, as stipulated in the relevant regulations. This hands-on experience is crucial for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The director of CECyTE emphasized the importance of creating connections with businesses to provide students with experiences that enhance their learning.

"It is essential to generate links with companies to bring students closer to experiences that complement their education,"

said Torres Navarro.

This initiative is not only beneficial for the students but also for the companies involved, as they will have the opportunity to engage with fresh talent and innovative ideas from the next generation of professionals.

Empowering the Youth

The collaboration between CECyTE and Expo Agrovizcaíno is a testament to the commitment of both organizations to empower the youth of Baja California Sur. By facilitating access to practical training, the partnership aims to equip students with the necessary tools to successfully enter the job market. This is particularly important in a rapidly evolving economy where technological skills are increasingly in demand.

"With this initiative, CECyTE seeks to promote the development of young people and contribute to their ability to integrate into the labor market,"

Torres Navarro added.

The agreement marks a significant milestone in the educational landscape of Baja California Sur, highlighting the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and the private sector. As more students gain access to practical training opportunities, the region can expect a more skilled workforce ready to meet the challenges of the future.

In conclusion, the partnership between CECyTE BCS and Expo Agrovizcaíno represents a proactive approach to education and professional development, setting a precedent for similar collaborations in the future.
