La Paz, Baja California Sur, has solidified its reputation as an attractive tourist destination, welcoming more than 72,000 travelers in July alone. This figure not only exceeded initial estimates of 57,000 but also highlighted the city's growing appeal as a vacation spot. According to Andrés Acosta Moyrón, the Municipal Director of Tourism, the increase in visitors by approximately 15,000 underscores the city's successful tourism strategies.

"The municipality of La Paz concentrated the highest number of visitors, registering around 72,000 air passengers, a figure that surpassed the initial estimate of 57,000 tourists, with an approximate difference of 15,000 additional visitors,"

he explained.

The surge in tourist numbers reflects the city's ongoing efforts to promote itself as a sustainable destination, renowned for its natural attractions and commitment to preserving its beaches and public spaces. This achievement is particularly significant as it demonstrates La Paz's ability to attract visitors not just during peak seasons but throughout the year.

New direct flights from La Paz to destinations such as Los Mochis in Sinaloa and Aguascalientes have broadened travel options for potential visitors. Currently, La Paz boasts direct flight connections to various national destinations, including Ciudad Juárez, Monterrey, Los Mochis, and Aguascalientes, in addition to its international link with Los Angeles, California.
