Final Training Session for Public Servants

The Governor of Baja California Sur, Víctor Manuel Castro Cosío, recently led the final training session aimed at public servants in the state. This session marked the conclusion of 14 comprehensive training sessions designed to ensure a well-organized, complete, transparent, and legally sound handover process. Over 200 public servants participated in these activities, highlighting the commitment to effective governance.

"This is a labor that goes beyond improvisation; this department could not function without a great internal team,"

Castro Cosío stated, acknowledging the efforts of the Secretary of the Comptroller and Government Transparency, Rosa Cristina Buendía Soto, and her team.

Importance of Training in Governance

During the event held at the La Paz Convention Center, Governor Castro emphasized the importance of these training sessions for public servants. He recognized their eagerness to participate and acquire the necessary tools to fulfill their responsibilities during this critical phase of administration. The training sessions covered a wide range of topics essential for a seamless transition, including regulatory frameworks, file management, human resources, financial status, and ongoing audits.

"I am proud of the dedication shown by our public servants in these sessions, which are crucial for maintaining transparency and accountability in our government,"

he added.

Buendía Soto also highlighted the completion of the planned topics for the training, which included important aspects such as the regulatory framework, financial reports, and the management of documents related to the transition process. This comprehensive approach ensures that all aspects of the handover are addressed, minimizing the potential for oversight.

Utilizing Technology for Effective Handover

As part of the final training day, the participants were introduced to the Integrated System for the Handover of the State of Baja California Sur (SIERE). This tool is designed to integrate, organize, and monitor the information related to the handover process, facilitating better communication and efficiency among public servants.

"We must maintain the highest level of commitment and dedication during this final stage of administration to ensure that the handover is conducted in an orderly and transparent manner,"

Castro urged.

The implementation of SIERE represents a significant step towards modernizing the handover process, leveraging technology to enhance transparency and accountability. By utilizing such systems, the government aims to streamline operations and ensure that all necessary information is readily accessible.

In conclusion, the training sessions led by Governor Castro and his team underscore the importance of preparation and transparency in governance. As Baja California Sur approaches the end of the current administration, these efforts will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining public trust in government operations.
