Goals for Peace: Successful Youth Tournament Organized in Cabo San Lucas to Promote Healthy Coexistence in 2026

Sports are consolidating themselves as the best tool for rebuilding the social fabric in Los Cabos. This April 2026, as part of the "Days for Peace" (Jornadas por la Paz), local authorities and civil organizations inaugurated an exciting youth tournament in Cabo San Lucas, bringing together dozens of teams from various neighborhoods in a competition that prioritizes fair play, discipline, and community integration.

Beyond the trophies and the scoreboard, this initiative seeks to offer young people safe spaces for their physical and emotional development, steering them away from risky behaviors and off the streets. During these days, in addition to the intense sports matches, talks were given on crime prevention, teamwork, and mental health. Parents and neighbors gathered in the stands, transforming the courts of the sports complexes into true points of meeting and family celebration.
