With the aim of strengthening the labor market and closing the gap between labor supply and demand in the municipality of Comondú, the National Employment Service (SNE) in Baja California Sur led a strategic linkage meeting. This gathering brought together representatives from productive sectors, business chambers, and educational institutions in the region to design mechanisms that facilitate the insertion of Comondú residents into formal, dignified, and well-paid jobs in 2026.
The strategy focuses on creating a permanent collaboration network where companies share their specific personnel needs and educational institutions can adjust their training programs. In this way, the goal is for young people and job seekers in Ciudad Constitución and surrounding areas to have the technical tools that modern companies demand. The SNE reaffirmed its role as a facilitator, making available scholarship programs for training and job fairs tailored to the economic vocation of Comondú.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that linkage not only benefits those looking for work but also increases the competitiveness of local companies by reducing staff turnover and ensuring qualified talent. State authorities emphasized that Comondú is a vital engine for the economy of Baja California Sur, and that the development of the municipality must go hand in hand with the creation of opportunities that allow families to prosper without having to migrate to other tourist or urban centers in the state.
Finally, it was agreed to provide timely follow-up to the established agreements, including holding mass recruitment days in rural communities and strengthening the digital job bank. This initiative represents a firm step toward a more balanced economic development in the entity, where the sum of efforts between the government and private initiative is the key that opens the doors of well-being for the families of Comondú.
